Extra Template Manager Pro also allows you to email the Extra Templates, in HTML or TEXT format, from any SMT Merchant template, for any reason. Store logic can be used to trigger the emails and the email templates can be used and re-used. Since the Item Render token controls the To, From, Subject and CC information, the same email templates can be sent using different Email information. This provides for a quick and convenient way to manage your extra email templates.
Some example uses for module's extra template emailing capabilities are: HTML Customer Confirmation Email, HTML Merchant Notification Email, Welcome New User Email, Contact Forms, Tell a Friend Forms, Information Requests, Automated Coupon Delivery, etc...
The module also provides new MivaScript Parameter Functions that allow for assignment, evaluation and use of new Merchant variables, at run-time, right from the template. The variable assignment can utilize Merchant variables, MivaScript expressions and built-in functions. Variable values can then be used as SMT entities for display or in the IF statements and FOR loops.
The ADS External File Pro Module Features:
- Module automatically creates and configures the necessary item, when installed.
- Example HTML Customer Confirmation email template is automatically installed
- Smart Item monitoring provides quick access to Pages where the Item is used.
- You can insert an appropriate Render Token in any page related template(s) to utilize module features.
- Render Tokens can be used in Page Templates, Product List Layouts, Messages, Headers, Footers, etc..
- Module includes five Render Tokens in order to provide various methods for rendering and emailing available templates, and also for assigning and evaluating variables and executing built-in MivaScript functions. Depending on a type of Token used, additional information such as Email Header Parameters may also need to be included.
- "render" Token provides a way to render the contents of Extra Template in any other SMT enable merchant template. This is very useful in using and re-using additional content in template(s) of your choice, providing one place to quickly manage it. - "mvassign" Token provides a way to assign and use new variables at run-time right from your template. The variable assignment can utilize MivaScript expressions and built-in functions. Variable values can then be used as SMT entities for display or in the IF statements and FOR loops.
- "mveval" Token provides a way to evaluate MivaScript expressions and built-in functions at run-time right from your template. It works just like the mvassign token, except the expression result is rendered, not assigned to a variable.
NOTE: Caution should be taken in using MivaScript parameter Functions, since they allow you to directly create and modify Merchant Variables, Arrays, and Execute Built-In functions, right from the template, at run time.

I don’t know of any other Web design service that troubleshoots other vendors’ screwups, much less instantly and accurately. That’s amazing service.

Refunds
If a product doesn't turn out to be what you wanted, you can request a refund from MivaMan Support. Important refund considerations are:
- Refunds must be requested within 30 days of purchase
- For installation or module problems, customers must have first requested developer support to resolve the issue.
- Modules must be uninstalled before a refund is given
- A restocking fee may be applicable on refunds*
- Developer Installation fees may not be refunded if the developer installation is complete
Note. Some partners have different refund policies. A refund policy stated in a product description at MivaMan overrides the MivaMan global policy
* A restocking fee may be requested in certain circumstances to cover cost-of-doing-business. Possible scenarios include:
- Customer requests refunds on multiple products
- Customers expectation of the module bears NO relation to product description
- Customers hosting account is inferior and incapable of supporting third party modules
- MivaMan products function as described but customer decides to abandon Miva Merchant as a solution
- MivaMan finds evidence of license abuse for this or other products registered to customer
Refunds are batched and processed weekly. In some circumstances refunds may be slightly delayed while development partners are consulted for refund authorization and / or order history. |
